Can’t make it to New Orleans?

Take advantage of Ellucian Live 2015’s learning opportunities without ever leaving your campus. For just $500, you can download content from all the sessions as well as watch video recordings of selected sessions including Jeff Ray’s vision for the future and product highlights. To guide you toward a particular session we offer downloads of a list of video recorded content or the full list of sessions for PPT content.

The deadline for participants to register for access to recordings closes April 23.

Registration is closed. If you have already purchased a package look for an email with a link for you to access Ellucian OnDemand and set up your password to access the platform.

Attendance policy

Because all programs and training are customer-focused events, attendance is restricted to:

  • Current Ellucian customers on valid maintenance agreements.
  • Ellucian employees. (Employees are not permitted to register for the Executive Forum or to enroll in pre-conference training sessions.)
  • Third-party (i.e., outside) consultants working full time in a managerial role with a current Ellucian customer. (Third-party consultants can register but will require approval by Ellucian, must sign a non-disclosure agreement when registering, and must pay a registration fee.) Third-party consultants are not permitted to enroll in pre-conference training sessions or to attend the Executive Forum or Degree Works Forum.
  • Invited exhibitors, industry analysts, special guests, prospects, and channel partners.

Guests of attendees

The guest pass fee ($75 per person) entitles your guest(s) to attend the Tuesday evening customer event. We’re sorry, but guests of attendees are not permitted to attend sessions, meal functions, or the exhibit hall at Ellucian Live 2015.

Specialty (kosher or halal) meals surcharge

Due to the significant cost difference for kosher or halal meals, there will be a one-time $50 surcharge for attendees who select that type of meal during the registration process. The surcharge will cover the following meals: Sunday brunch, Monday and Tuesday lunches.

Cancellation policy

There are no refunds on cancellations received after March 10, 2015.

Cancellation of registration must be submitted via email ( [email protected]) and must be received by March 10, 2015. There is a $50 processing fee on all cancellations, regardless of the date the cancellation is received. Refunds are processed within 30 days with the exception of credit card payments. Registration fees paid via credit card will be refunded (minus the $50 processing fee) at the time the cancellation is received.

Substitution policy

A full conference, single day or Degree Works Forum substitution may be made at any time for a paid-in-full registrant from the same institution. A pre-con training substitution from the same institution must be made prior to 30 days before the session (March 10, 2015). There is a $50 processing fee on all substitutions. The substitution fee must be paid via credit card at the time the substitution is processed.

NOTE: Applies to full conference, single day, pre-con training, and Degree Works Forum program.

Pre-conference cancellation policy

Depending on the class, there is a minimum attendee registration requirement. This number is approximately seven attendees, with a potential maximum capacity of 25. If the minimum registration requirement for a specific training class is not met, Ellucian reserves the right to cancel the session and will notify any registered attendee in writing. If an attendee cancels his or her registration within 30 days of the pre-conference event (on or after March 10, 2015), 100 percent of the tuition will be fully obligatory. Attendee substitutions are acceptable, provided the replacement has met all of the necessary prerequisites for the class. Please submit any cancellation notices or substitution requests via e-mail to [email protected].

General Information

  • Multiple conference hotels are available for Ellucian Live attendees. Shuttle service will be provided between select hotels and the New Orleans Convention Center. See the grid below to determine which hotels will have shuttle service available.
  • All sessions, meals, vendor exhibits, events, and registration activities will take place at the New Orleans Convention Center, Hilton New Orleans and Sheraton New Orleans.
  • Rates quoted below do not include any state and local taxes (currently 14.75%) and fees. Taxes & fees are subject to change without notice.
  • Rates are valid for three days prior to and three days after the conference, pending availability.
  • Reservations must be made via our system when it becomes available in early December. The hotels will not take reservations directly.
  • Parking is available at most hotels. Rates for parking vary.

Travel information



New Orleans' Louis Armstrong International Airport is located in Kenner, approximately 15 miles west of downtown.

Ground Transportation

New Orleans shuttle buses, taxis, limos, and public transportation buses run from downtown and French Quarter areas to the airport regularly.


A cab ride costs $33.00 from the airport to the Central Business District (CBD) for one or two persons and $14.00 (per passenger) for three or more passengers. Pick-up is on the lower level, outside the baggage claim area. There may be an additional charge for extra baggage. Taxis are required to offer a credit card payment option.

Airport Shuttle:

Shuttle service is available from the airport to the hotels in the CBD for $20.00 (per person, one-way) or $38.00 (per person, round-trip). Three bags per person. Call 1-866-596-2699 or (504) 522-3500 for more details or to make a reservation. Advance reservations are required 48 hours prior to travel for all ADA accessible transfers. Please call in advance of your travel date for the specially-equipped shuttle to be reserved. For group reservations of 50 or more people please dial 1-866-596-2699. Ticket booths are located on the lower level in the baggage claim area.

Airport Limousines:

Airport Limousine is the official limousine service for Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Convenient kiosks are located in the baggage claim area and no hassle curb side pickups are available. Rates begin at $58 for 1 or 2 passengers.
