Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

As Ellucian’s senior vice president and chief operating officer, Kevin Boyce is responsible for leading the company in operational excellence. He oversees the Global Services, Customer Success, Cloud, and Enterprise Project Management teams as well as Ellucian’s global partnerships and corporate development activities. He also plays a senior role in its strategic growth and go to market initiatives. Mr. Boyce joined Ellucian in 2007 as chief financial officer, and took on the additional role of chief operating officer in September 2015.

Prior to joining Ellucian, Mr. Boyce served as vice president of finance for North America for Culligan International. He was the lead financial executive of six business lines with combined revenues of approximately $500 million. Mr. Boyce also held a number of financial positions at JPMorgan Chase Vastera, completing his tenure as chief financial officer. While at JPMorgan Chase Vastera, Mr. Boyce managed global finance operations across five continents, including accounting, audit, tax, treasury, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, and financial merger and acquisition functions. He began his career in the communications and technology group at Arthur Andersen LLP. As a manager in its audit practice, he worked extensively with emerging technology growth companies, primarily in the software, hardware, and communications industries.

Mr. Boyce holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a concentration in Accounting from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. He passed the Certified Public Accountant exam in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Mr. Boyce is a member of the board of directors of Level Access, Inc. (a JMI Equity investment) and a member of the Hellman & Friedman software advisory council. He was formerly a director of Deltek, Inc. (a Thoma Bravo investment). In 2010 and 2016, the Northern Virginia Technology Council of Greater Washington DC named him Private Company CFO of the year and in 2015, he was named a Trending 40: Top Tech CFO by Bisnow.
