Maria College, which was named one of America’s Top 100 Affordable Small Colleges this year, is making investments in capital projects to support the small, private liberal arts college’s evolution and commitment to meeting the needs of the modern student.

Maria offers high-demand majors to students matched to the region’s market needs in the health sciences and their newest Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts offers two tracks in communication and government studies.

“We are in the midst of creating a new Maria College, built on the values and history that have been foundational to our existence. As we enhance the student experience that we offer on our campus, we wanted a best-in-class technology platform designed specifically for colleges and universities,” said Lea Johnson, President of Maria College. “Through our trusted partnership with Ellucian, we’re able to focus on our mission of educating students to serve others.”

Under the leadership of President Lea Johnson, Maria College is also expanding the number of majors and degrees the College offers. The institution will be able to automate all of its most critical, student-related tasks, particularly with regard to admissions, billing and cash receipts, financial aid, and academic records.
