Where can I find the digital conference guide?

To access the digital Ellucian Live 2018 Conference Guide you will, simply log in with the email and password you set up when registering, and select the Connect button to take you to the landing page with the Digital Guide.

How much will it cost to attend Ellucian Live 2018?

We have three phases of rates to attend Ellucian Live and they will remain flat from the last two years. The first Early Bird rate will be $995 and will open mid-October.

What is the Ellucian Degree Works™ Forum?

Held independently from Ellucian Live 2018, this fee-based forum focuses exclusively on Ellucian Degree Works and offers attendees the opportunity to explore the solution in depth, network with peers, share ideas and experiences, and find out what’s new and next.

What is the Ellucian Executive Forum, and how can I attend?

The Ellucian Executive Forum, held independently from Ellucian Live, is an invitation-only, fee-based event for executives of Ellucian customers on valid maintenance agreements. Registration is not open to the public and is strictly limited. It focuses on how executives can effectively address today’s key challenges while continuing to ensure student success.

I am a third-party consultant working full time in a managerial role with a current Ellucian customer. Can I participate in Ellucian Live 2018?

Third-party consultants may register for Ellucian Live 2018, but they require approval by Ellucian, must sign a non-disclosure agreement, and must pay a registration fee. Approved third-party consultants will not have access to post-conference audio content, and on-site registration is not available.

Third-party consultants are not permitted to attend the Ellucian Executive Forum.

Will there be pre-conference training prior to Ellucian Live this year?

Yes! This year we are hosting 6 pre-conference classes, both full-day and half-day, on Sunday, April 8th. There are courses for Banner, Colleague, Workflow and Ethos.

How do I make changes or corrections to my completed registration?

To make changes or corrections, use your username or registered email address and password (provided in your registration confirmation email) to access your registration account here.

How do I make my hotel arrangements if I didn’t do it during the registration process?

If you chose to make your hotel room reservation at a later time, you can access your account here with your username and password.

I made my hotel registration when I registered for the conference, where can I find my confirmation details?

You will receive a separate hotel reservation acknowledgement.

Who do I contact with questions about the hotel?

If you have any questions related to your housing, send an email to [email protected] and remember to include your name and email address, or call our Hotel Contact Center toll-free at 877.855.6287, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m. ET.

How do I get documentation for a visa application?

Please contact Ellucian Live 2018 Customer Service at [email protected] and we will provide you with a letter of invitation for Ellucian Live 2018.

When will the Ellucian Live 2018 schedule builder open?

The schedule builder feature is now open. Please help us by building your schedule as early as possible so we ensure the proper room size. Please log in with the username and password you set up when registering.

When I registered, I received a message that my confirmation is on hold to obtain proper validation. What does this mean?

Because Ellucian Live 2018 is a customer-focused event, we restrict attendance to current Ellucian customers on valid maintenance agreements, Ellucian employees, approved third-party consultants, partners, and invited guests. We simply need time to confirm that you fall into one of these categories. Ellucian Live Customer Service will be contacting you within five business days after you registered to gather any additional information.

What is your substitution policy?

A full conference, single day, or Ellucian Degree Works™ Forum substitution may be made at any time for a paid-in-full registrant from the same institution. There is a $50 processing fee on all substitutions, which must be paid via credit card at the time the substitution is processed.

What is the payment policy to ensure that my registration fee is not increased?

Your registration must be paid in full by the early-bird 1 price (February 2, 2018), early-bird 2 price (February 3, 2018–February 16, 2018), and regular price (February 17, 2018 and beyond) deadlines to receive the pricing for those discounts. If you are paying by check, please note that the check must be postmarked by the corresponding deadline date to receive that pricing.

You may pay any balance online via credit card by accessing your account. If you are paying by check, please include a copy of your invoice. If your institution is paying for multiple invoices with one check, a copy of each invoice being paid must accompany the payment.

A purchase order is not an accepted form of payment. If you arrive onsite with a balance due, you will be required to pay the full onsite price for your registration package.

How do I get a guest pass?

A guest pass can be purchased for your guest to attend the Customer Appreciation Event on Tuesday evening, April 10, 2018. The guest must be 21 years of age. There is a limit of two guest passes per attendee.

If I purchase a day pass for Tuesday, can I attend the Customer Appreciation Event that evening?

No, your day pass does not include entry to the Customer Appreciation Event. You will need to purchase a guest pass to attend the event.

How will I know what sessions to attend?

The agenda is available. Sessions are on a first-come, first-served basis, so we strongly encourage you to build your session schedule early. This helps us plan adequate space for popular sessions. Please note: Adding a session in the scheduler does not block or guarantee you a seat in that session. Use the Connect feature (available on the website in January) to build your unique itinerary. Review all of the sessions offered—not just the ones directly related to your area—to experience the full advantages of Ellucian Live.

If I attend a session eligible for continuing professional education (CPE) credits, where do I get the paperwork?

Continuing professional education (CPE) credit form(s) will be available to download and print before the conference. You can also pick them up at the registration desk when you arrive. Forms need to be signed by both you and the session leader.

Will there be a virtual Ellucian Live 2018?

No. We will not be broadcasting a virtual conference this year.

Will attendees have access to recorded resources after the conference?

This year we're recording many sessions and syncing audio with screen captures. These recorded resources will be available to attendees via the My Ellucian Live portal no later than May 4. Ellucian Live 2018 full conference/single-day attendees have access to all recorded sessions at no additional cost.
