Organized by Maria Torre, Director of Field Marketing at Ellucian, the executive roundtable provided institutions with a platform to share ideas, experiences, and perspectives on the future of education for students. Dr. Sallustio discussed how institutions are moving toward more connected and agile experiences, as well as the ways AI programs and tools can support institutional transformation and operational efficiency.

Roberto Íñiguez, Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Faculty at Tecnológico de Monterrey, shared a strategic vision for student mobility and emphasized the importance of building global, flexible educational pathways. For private institutions, top priorities include student retention, global relevance, and strengthening research profiles, while public institutions are more focused on scale, budget constraints, administrative burden, and expanding access. Additionally, religious and mission-based institutions are focused on shared values and international partnerships, whereas cross-border and alliance-driven institutions are prioritizing operational complexity and partner coordination. These discussions reinforced that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to mobility.
