Ellucian Action Line Center: where to find support

The Ellucian Action Line Center is staffed by support analysts who provide onsite answers and advice for Banner® by Ellucian, Ellucian Degree Works™, Ellucian CRM Recruit™, Ellucian CRM Advance™, Ellucian CRM Advise™, PowerCampus™ by Ellucian, and Colleague® by Ellucian. Support analysts will provide step-by-step guidance and personal support by appointment. Registered attendees will be able to schedule their appointments before or during the conference using the Ellucian Live My Portal page.

The Ellucian Impact Award celebrates visionaries in higher education inspiring others to push the boundaries of technology and innovation. This annual award recognizes an institution using technology to provide a better student and constituent experience, become more efficient, and resolve challenges. The Ellucian Impact Award winner will receive a $25,000 grant and finalist institutions will each receive a $5,000 grant, among other award benefits. Winning entries will demonstrate unique vision and innovation, impact on the institution and students, creativity in the application of technology to meet objectives, and/or impact on the higher education community at large. Winners and finalists will be announced and celebrated during the opening session of Ellucian Live.

One of the most important things attendees are looking to get out their Ellucian Live experience is the ability to connect with and learn from their peers. We are excited to announce that we will be creating a unique and personalized on-site networking experience through braindates!

Everyone who attends Ellucian Live brings valuable knowledge with them from their work and research around the world. We are offering braindates because we want to make sure that attendees have the opportunity to learn from each other while everyone is gathered together. The Braindate platform facilitates meetings between participants about shared areas of interest, one-on-one or small groups.

Ellucian Live is one of the largest higher education-specific user conferences in the United States. It is produced and managed by Ellucian with the support of our clients and partners. The conference provides training and industry-related sessions over four days. We anticipate approximately 7,500 attendees at Ellucian Live 2020.

What is the Ellucian Degree Works™ Forum?

Where do I send payments?

If you are paying by check or wire transfer, please read the following instructions and click here for terms and conditions regarding payment requirements and deadlines.

Please send a copy of your invoice with your payment. If your institution is paying for multiple invoices with one check, a copy of each invoice being paid must accompany the payment. Failure to include a copy of the invoice will delay application of payment to the registration.

How do I get a guest pass for the customer appreciation event?

A guest pass can be purchased for your guest to attend the Customer Appreciation Event on Tuesday evening, April 7, 2020 via the eLive website or on-site at the registration desk in the Orange County Convention Center. Guest passes will not be available for purchase at the customer event venue. Guests must be 21 years of age or older. There is a limit of two guest passes per attendee and are non-refundable. See the registration page for details.
Note: Guest passes do not allow admission into any of the Ellucian Live functions outside of the Tuesday evening customer event.

How do I get documentation for a visa application?

For attendees from outside the United States that require a visa invitation letter for Ellucian Live 2020, you should select that option during your registration process. The Ellucian Live Customer Service team will send your visa invitation letter within 10 business days via email after your completion of your conference registration. Registrations that are not completed will not be sent visa invitation letters. Please contact Ellucian Live Customer Service at [email protected] if you have further questions.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please review our registration cancellation and refund policy. All refund requests must be sent to [email protected] Full cancellation details below:

Cancellation of a registration must be submitted via email ([email protected]) and must be received by February 14, 2020. There are no refunds on cancellations received after February 14, 2020. No adjustments on any registrations will be permitted after April 30, 2020. All refund requests must be received in writing to el[email protected] on or before April 30, 2020. In the case where this is an event of force majeure, the fee will remain non-refundable.

There is a $125 processing fee on all cancellations that require the processing of a refund. Credit card payments will be refunded within 45 days. If a credit card has expired at the time of refund, the refund will be made by check. Refunds for payments made by check will be processed within 45 days.

Please remember that canceling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. Individuals are responsible for canceling their own hotel and travel reservations.

A full conference, single day, pre-conference, or Degree Works Forum substitution may be made at any time for a paid-in-full registrant from the same institution.

Substitutions are not permitted for the Executive Forum.

There is a $125 processing fee on all substitutions.

The substitution fee must be paid via credit card at the time the substitution is processed. When adding items to a substituted registration package including Ellucian Live 2020, Degree Works Forum, Pre-conference Training, or the Executive Forum (if approved), the additional amount due will be the price of the added item at the time when the request is made, which may vary from the price at the time the initial package was purchased.

Will there be a virtual Ellucian Live 2020?

No, we will not be broadcasting a virtual conference this year. However, we are recording sessions and syncing audio with screen captures. These recorded resources will be available to attendees via the My Ellucian Live portal by early May. Recorded resources will be available on a complimentary basis for those fully paid Ellucian conference attendees for 3 months following their availability. Recorded resources are also available for purchase by non-attendees.

Will there be Pre-conference sessions this year?

In order to attend a pre-conference, an Ellucian Live 2020 full conference pass must be purchased. Pre-conferences are only available to Ellucian customers. Please read full descriptions and pre-requirements before selecting any pre-conference.

How can I make sure I get into the sessions I want?

Based on attendee feedback, we have a new session attendance policy. Registrants planning to attend Ellucian Live and/or Degree Works Forum sessions must reserve their seats. To reserve a seat in a specific session you must add that session to your personal schedule in the schedule builder tool. It is recommended that reservations are completed by March 1, 2020. This update will ensure a smooth seating process and enhance your onsite experience. If you reserve a seat in a session, arrive at least 5 minutes before the session is scheduled to start. All reservations are canceled at 5 minutes before the session starts! If you are late, you will be asked to join the stand-by queue, with no guarantee a seat will be available. Those who have not reserved a seat will be asked to line up in the stand-by queue. At 5 minutes prior to the session start time if there are seats available in the session, attendees in the stand-by queue will be offered seats in the order of getting into line. Please note, waiting in the stand-by line does not guarantee you a seat. Be sure to schedule your sessions before seating in the room fills up for an optimum onsite experience.

When will the Ellucian Live 2020 schedule builder open?

The schedule builder feature is now open. New this year, all attendees will need to follow our session attendance policy. To guarantee a seat in desired sessions, registrants must reserve their seats by adding sessions to a personal schedule in the schedule builder tool. It is recommended that reservations are completed by March 1, 2020. Be sure to arrive early, as all reservations are canceled at 5 minutes prior to the start of a session.

What is the Ellucian Executive Forum, and how can I attend?

The Ellucian Executive Forum, held immediately prior to Ellucian Live, is an invitation-only, fee-based event for executives (CIOs and CFOs) of Ellucian customers on valid maintenance agreements. Registration is not open to the public and is strictly limited. This forum focuses on how executives can effectively address today’s key challenges while continuing to ensure student success.
