Michael Wulff Named Ellucian Senior Vice President of Global Research and Development
Industry veteran will drive cloud transformation and company growth

- Wulff has spent more than 20 years at Ellucian, starting as a software development intern and moving into strategic roles leading product development.
RESTON, VA – Ellucian, the world’s leading provider of software and services built to power higher education, today announced that it has appointed Michael Wulff to its executive team to serve as senior vice president of global research and development. In his new role, Wulff is responsible for strategic company growth initiatives including expanded Ellucian Ethos delivery, software as a service (SaaS) acceleration and the development of new solutions in support of business priorities and emerging technologies.
Wulff has spent more than 20 years at Ellucian, starting as a software development intern, moving into developer and lead developer roles and then on to strategic positions leading all phases of development in support of delivering native SaaS applications. Most recently, Wulff served as vice president of global research and development, where he led the global engineering teams responsible for the development of Ellucian’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) and student information system (SIS) solutions.

Wulff holds a Bachelor of Arts in interdisciplinary studies focused on science and technology from Virginia Tech.
