North Arkansas College opts for Ellucian Colleague
- Ellucian Colleague® will help Northark more easily manage student information, operations, and HR and finance administration

North Arkansas College (Northark), a community college located in Harrison, Arkansas, selected Ellucian Colleague for its enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Colleague’s robust functionality will allow Northark to more easily manage student information, operations, and HR and finance administration.
Founded in 1974, North Arkansas College offers associate degrees, online degrees, one-year certificates, certificates of proficiency, General Equivalency Development (GED) and non-credit community education courses in more than 70 areas of study. Partnerships with area universities also provide the opportunity for students to achieve a bachelor’s degree on Northark’s campus in Harrison, Arkansas.
“We realized that in order to keep pace with our employees’ and students’ needs, we had to update our technology solutions on campus and work towards the elimination of manual processes,” said North Arkansas College President, Randy Esters. “The move to Colleague will increase efficiencies across departments while letting us be more agile with technology deployments that enable the development of successful academic programs and partnerships.”
Northark will strengthen its digital presence, keeping students, faculty and staff engaged and productive. Ellucian Colleague’s modern user interface improves users’ ability to access whatever they need from wherever they are. New capabilities will give students the ability to conduct all school business online and provide complete visibility into their academic progress, putting them in control of their own progress and timeline to graduation.
