
St. Augustine’s University Moves to the Cloud with Ellucian Colleague and Ellucian CRM Recruit to Modernize Student Experience
University joins the ranks of more than 80 percent of higher education institutions in North Carolina that have selected Ellucian technology and solutions
RESTON, VA – Ellucian, the leading provider of software and services built to power higher education, today announced a new cloud modernization and migration engagement with St. Augustine’s University, a four-year liberal arts university founded in 1867 in Raleigh, North Carolina. In January 2020, St. Augustine’s selected a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based deployment of Ellucian Colleague and Ellucian CRM Recruit to power its digital transformation, modernize the student experience and enable campus-wide innovation.

Ellucian Technology to Support Digital Transformation
Colleague SaaS will empower St. Augustine to be more agile, efficient and data-driven as higher education evolves to meet the needs of today while also preparing for the future. By moving to a SaaS enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, St. Augustine’s will streamline and consolidate several disparate systems into an integrated information solution and improve the overall user experience and operational effectiveness for students, staff and administrators. The flexibility and configurability of Ellucian Colleague SaaS will enable institutional innovation with a wholistic view of information, faster technology transformation, and a more robust, digital campus experience for students.
Ellucian CRM Recruit will allow St. Augustine’s to stand out amongst the more than 110 higher education institutions in North Carolina by enabling a more modern and streamlined recruitment processes and personalized engagement with prospective students. Additionally, CRM Recruit allows the university to take advantage of analytics that will help increase enrollment and further identify and engage potential students.
More than 80 percent of higher education institutions in the state of North Carolina, including the Community College System, utilize Ellucian technology and services.
