Iain Sloan

Iain Sloan has worked in the higher education sector for over 17 years, and his initial experience was delivering engagement and widening participation sessions at Durham University whilst still a student at the time.

Iain went on to join Oxford Brookes University where he held a variety of roles across the Admissions Team as well as Head of UK Recruitment and Partnerships. Having led the implementation of new systems and processes in the Admissions Office, Iain then joined the Academic & Student Affairs Central Management Team as Student Systems Development Manager. He led a team of Project Managers delivering change initiatives across the student lifecycle, from timetabling to paperless enrolment, before playing a key role in the implementation of Ellucian CRM Recruit & Banner for Admissions.

In his final role at Oxford Brookes, Iain joined the newly formed Strategic Change and Programme Management team as Programme Assurance Manager, providing oversight, advice and guidance to projects across the strategic change portfolio.

Iain’s current role as a Solutions Consultant at Ellucian draws upon his experience of higher education, process change and solution implementation to understand an institution's needs, solution best fit and route to the delivery of benefits.
