As vice president of global sales operations and strategic initiatives, Jenny Lee is responsible for enabling Ellucian’s field team by driving process improvement, creating efficiencies using technology, and defining best-fit solutions to meet customer needs. In addition to leading the teams that enable global sales, Jenny serves as the cross-functional lead for the global sales organization on corporate initiatives such as the cloud customer experience. She is also focused on Ellucian’s go-to-market and customer strategy along with value creation.
With over two decades of experience working in higher education, Jenny has held a variety of roles, working with hundreds of clients globally. Her career with Ellucian started 20 years ago in pre-sales solutions consulting, during which time she worked with customers at all phases of the evaluation cycle. From that role, she transitioned to a sales best practices and training position and was responsible for developing sales processes and training programs to facilitate a higher value customer engagement. From there, she led the pre-sales solutions consulting and proposal team. Just prior to her current role, Jenny was the vice president of business advisory services, during which time she and her team worked on tools to facilitate strategic planning with Ellucian customers.
Prior to joining Ellucian, Jenny worked in both student affairs and academic advising programs at her alma mater, Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a master’s in counselor education with a focus in higher education. She also holds a bachelor’s in English from the University of Miami.
