Phil Sykes

Phil is a seasoned technology professional with more than 25 years of industry experience. He has a wide variety of experience, from dot-com start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. During his career he has held many roles, including architect, developer, consultant, and technical analyst. For the last 10 years, he has been a leader in the development of solutions for complex higher education technology problems. He is currently working on the construction of a policy-based access control system for the Ellucian Ethos platform.

When he's not working, he enjoys the great outdoors and spending quiet evenings at home with his family.
