The recently enacted Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act is the largest emergency relief expenditure in U.S. history with nearly $14 billion dedicated for higher education institutions and their students. There are many levels of uncertainty involved in the act and the requirements to qualify for funding. How can your institution benefit from the CARES Act to improve technology infrastructure, and support remote learning capabilities and student success? And how can your institution compete for the funds?

To help guide you, Ellucian is pleased to be joined by Paul Johnson, senior strategist at APCO Worldwide, a leading advisory firm on COVID-related topics, as we decipher the CARES Act and its implications for colleges and universities across the country.

In this webinar, we:

  • Review the CARES Act and the elements set aside for higher education
  • Share where and how these funds may be directed
  • Discuss best practices as you move forward

Also, here’s a summary of the key takeaways and best practices from this discussion.
