Our Digital Journey to 2022: University of Greenwich

Webinar

The world of higher education is changing; the landscape is much more competitive, students have more choice than ever before and universities are having to adapt in order to deliver the changing student needs and expectations. Five years ago, the University of Greenwich set out a new course for its future to flourish in this new, changing world - this plan was named “Strategic Plan 2017-22: Making Greenwich Great II”.

The University of Greenwich’s refreshed strategy embraces change; blending their historic mission with a clear and powerful commitment to excellence to better serve its students and staff. Underpinning this plan is the university's "Digital Strategy - 2019 to 2022". This includes a five year roadmap to identify the specific projects previously undertaken, currently executing or planned over the period to support delivery of their strategy.

In our live interview with Paul Butler – Director of Information & Library Services (University of Greenwich) on 3 October, we covered the following areas:

  • An insight of the University’s “Digital Strategy 2019-2022”, including their strategic objectives and driving principles (eg. changing student lives, enhancing the digital environment)
  • How the strategy will be achieved and the impact on students and staff
  • Where the University is in their journey and what’s next
