Aquinas College
Prepared to transition to distance learning

Challenge
Playing catch-up after years of underinvestment in technology
Results
- Improved communication and collaboration across campus
- Increased confidence in IT’s ability to manage systems through the crisis
- Positioned faculty, students, and staff for successful distance learning
Summary
In 2017, Aquinas College realized that it needed a deeper IT bench to break down silos across campus and create a technological experience that met student expectations. They partnered with a managed services provider to better integrate its software, improve communication and collaboration across departments, and make data-driven decisions. Staff can now work faster and prioritize efforts strategically across campus, which has proven invaluable as the institution moved toward distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
