Kari Branjord is Senior Vice President, Digital Transformation at Ellucian, where she sets the vision for the company’s enterprise resource planning and student information systems. Working with institutions worldwide to transform their people, processes, and technology to meet the changing demands in higher education, she has helped colleges and universities with their most pressing technology objectives as a trusted advisor in the areas of solution implementation, project prioritization, and overall innovation strategy for over 20 years.
Kari was recognized as Oracle’s Global Customer Implementer of the Year for her work leading the student system project at the University of Colorado. Her roots in the Higher Education User Group fuel her belief that the best results are born of true collaboration between engaged user communities and committed solutions providers.
She began her career in higher education at her alma mater, the University of Minnesota. During the early days of the internet, and she led the teams responsible for shifting the administrative focus to self-service, and eventually ran the administrative computing area for the university. Prior to joining the higher education industry, Kari worked in healthcare during an era of substantial change, focusing on business process management, operational auditing, business analysis, quality assurance, and technology project management.
