Planes, Trains and Automobiles

Last year at Ellucian Live 2015, we were beset by monsoons in New Orleans. This year in Denver, it’s blizzards in April. Next year, we’re preparing for a plague of locusts.

But in all seriousness, I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone that braved the elements to make it to Colorado. Last night’s Welcome Reception was a great sign that many of our 8,500 registrants made the journey – by planes, trains and automobiles (and perhaps by snowmobile too).

I’ve heard a few stories of true commuting heroism. That our customer community would go to such great lengths to join us here is a testament to the lasting relationships we’ve forged together.

The Colorado Convention Center looks great dressed in Ellucian purple and we’re off and running. This is the world’s largest gathering of IT professionals in the higher education industry and the discussions and discourse are already bringing many new and exciting ideas to our shared mission of student success.
