The TEDU platform is a cloud-based, localized peer2peer tutoring infrastructure that integrates into registrar and LMS platforms on campus to create a personalized tutoring network within each university exclusively for their students. By integrating with the registrar and LMS platforms, student accounts are automatically created only requiring a log-in once they download their university's dedicated and personalized TEDU app from the respective device stores. The network is only accessible by students within the same university ensuring safety and relevancy of material being used for tutoring sessions. The platform is fully customizable with rates, rules, and requirements by each university and can be used autonomously or in conjunction with a physical tutoring center as the management software. Students can choose to meet other fellow student tutors in-person on campus or digitally, both individually or in groups with other classmates. At any time, a student can create a request for assistance within a specific class which is then pushed to all students on campus registered as tutors who have previously taken that same class as the student needing assistance.
