Dalhousie University (Dalhousie) selected Ellucian CRM Advance as its new donor management software to deepen and extend engagements with alumni and supporters. Deployed in a Software as a Service (SaaS) model through the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Canadian (Central) Region, Ellucian CRM Advance offers the university a powerful security overlay and failover capabilities, while easing the maintenance required for an on-premise solution.
Dalhousie, one of Canada’s U15 research-intensive universities, offers more than 4,000 courses and 180 undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs in 13 faculties. Founded in 1818, the university is one of Canada’s oldest and attracts almost 19,000 students from around the world. Located primarily in Nova Scotia, Canada, Dalhousie has three campuses in Halifax, a fourth in Truro, and also offers medical education at its satellite teaching facilities in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Dalhousie leadership chose to migrate to Ellucian CRM Advance for its ability to handle complex, nuanced fundraising operations and development campaigns.
