Experience Idol Kickoff

How to Participate

All participants will receive evaluation licenses for Experience Premium and Intelligent Processes Automation. To have your submission considered, you must submit the following:

  1. A screengrab of your submission.
  2. A "show and tell" video no more than five minutes describing how you built your submission, what it does, who it’s targeted for and the impact it has on students, faculty, or staff.

All evaluation licenses will end following the completion of Experience Idol in late April 2026.

Highlights the best use of the platform to drive impact at your institution.

Partner Judging Categories

Best Student Impact

Celebrates the Experience card that delivers the most meaningful and measurable impact on students’ lives. This is your chance to highlight how your solution directly supports student success and engagement.

Best in Extensibility

Recognizes seamless integration with Ellucian’s Extensibility Framework and external systems. This category amplifies partners who are pushing the boundaries of what is possible through APIs, data pipelines, and platform interoperability.

Student Wellness Challenge

Challenges partners to respond to a student wellness use case provided by Ellucian. Submissions should demonstrate innovative thinking and practical, data-informed solutions that reflect a deep understanding of the challenges facing higher education institutions today.

Important Information

All Participants Will:

  • Be invited to complimentary office hours in November, January, and February with Ellucian Product Management, UX, and R&D subject matter experts (SMEs) to get feedback and help you craft your entry.
  • Receive recognition and video submission promotion in the Ellucian booth at Ellucian Live 2026.

Important Dates:

  1. Submit this form indicating your intent to participate in Experience Idol and which categories you’d like to submit for by November 21, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
  2. Participate in complimentary office hours taking place in November, January, and February. SMEs from the Ellucian Product Management, UX and R&D Teams will be available to help your institution craft an impactful story in Experience!
  3. Receive complimentary UX design support in February to polish your submission (if necessary).
  4. Submit a screengrab that best showcases your submission and a five-minute “show and tell” video by February 27, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET. (Form to share final submission will be provided at a later date.)
  5. Finalist(s) from each category: Best Overall Dashboard, Best Use Case, and Best Use of AI will be announced via email on Monday, March 23, 2026.
  6. During a session at Ellucian Live: April 19 - 22, 2026, each finalist will participate in a rapid-round presentation to show off why their Experience dashboard should win the category to which they are a finalist. The session will include live audience voting to determine winners.
  7. Winner(s) will be announced at a special event during Ellucian Live.
