HESS Consortium's Success with Ellucian ERP

HESS is the Higher Education Systems and Services Consortium, and our goal is to work together as a community to find economies of scale, to find commonalities where we can bring our concerns together as a group and then work with ERP vendors. But really, we're just a community that tries to support each school in times when it's tough for a lot of us out there.

Ellucian definitely represents the largest portion of HESS. I believe the number is 57% of HESS members are Ellucian customers. Ellucian has leaned into HESS, and so we have pipelines to Ellucian that allow us to have regular meetings where we can get together as a HESS community and explain the challenges that we're having, and we have a really good voice that comes together and I think it helps everybody in HESS know they're not alone.

You know, we're all unique but we're not that different. And so, HESS, I think helps us celebrate the uniqueness, but focus on the things that really aren't that different.
